Borussia Dortmund eagerly anticipates a rematch with Paris St Germain in the Champions League semi-finals after a thrilling victory over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday secured their spot.

Dortmund overturned a 2-1 deficit from their quarter-final first leg against Atletico, winning 5-4 on aggregate.

The semi-final clash with PSG holds particular significance as they faced off in the group stage earlier. PSG, who secured their semi-final berth by defeating Barcelona 6-4 over two legs, now await Dortmund in the next round.

Dortmund coach Edin Terzic believes his team, champions in 1997, are better prepared this time around, having learned from their group stage encounters with PSG. Despite initial struggles, Terzic feels his team has improved since then.
