The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, Paul Enenche, has come under fire after publicly questioning the credibility of a church member’s testimony during a service.

In a video that went viral, Pastor Enenche interrupted Anyim Vera, who claimed to have graduated with a “Bsc in Law” from the National Open University of Nigeria, accusing her of dishonesty.

Despite the public embarrassment, netizens have since found evidence supporting Vera’s claims.

Her name was listed among the graduates who participated in the NOUN convocation on Saturday, April 13, with a degree in LLB Law.

The incident has sparked a debate on social media, with many calling for Pastor Enenche to apologise for his actions.

Some argue that Vera’s lack of eloquence should not have led to her being publicly shamed, while others believe that Enenche’s approach was too harsh.

While some defend the pastor’s stance, stating that there is no such thing as a “Bsc in Law,” others argue that there could have been a more constructive and compassionate way to handle the situation.

Critics emphasize that the incident has raised questions about how church leaders should approach sensitive matters, especially in public settings.

The controversy highlights the importance of empathy and understanding in religious communities, urging leaders to be more considerate and respectful when interacting with their congregation.
