Nigerian music sensation, Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, popularly known as Joeboy, has expressed his openness to the idea of marrying his current girlfriend, describing their relationship as deeply affectionate.
In a candid discussion on Madame Joyce’s ‘Cocktails & Takeaways’ podcast, Joeboy shared his belief in love and marriage, emphasizing the genuine connection he shares with his partner.
“My current relationship is characterized by pure, intense, and unconditional love,” he remarked. “I firmly believe in the sanctity of love and marriage, albeit with some reservations.”

Joeboy further expressed his commitment to his partner, stating, “The person I am with now, I envision spending my lifetime with her.
I firmly believe that if I cannot see myself committing to someone for life, I prefer not to be in a committed relationship. I’d rather maintain a casual acquaintance than enter into a commitment without genuine intent.”
This revelation comes after Joeboy disclosed in a previous interview his substantial financial investment in his relationship, estimating to have spent approximately N50 million over two years. However, he clarified that the actual figure might exceed this amount.
Maintaining his stance on privacy, Joeboy reiterated his decision to keep his girlfriend’s identity undisclosed, citing a desire to shield his personal life from excessive scrutiny on social media platforms.
