At the flyover bridge near the state secretariat, Sokshak Shikse, the convener of the solidarity walk, addressed the crowd and commended them for their interest in the state’s affairs.

Shikse assured the participants of sustained development projects across the 17 Local Government Areas of the state under Governor Mutfwang’s administration.

Shikse also warned against any attempt to undermine the overwhelming mandate given to the governor by the people.

He highlighted the tangible progress made by the Mutfwang-led administration in providing security, roads, amenities, and human capital development within months of inauguration.

The convener expressed the Plateau Support Network’s unequivocal support and confidence in Governor Caleb Mutfwang and his administration, emphasizing the positive impact on the state within a short period.

He also referenced recent events at the appeal court, expressing concern about the looming threat to the popular will of the people expressed at the polls.

Shikse called on the judiciary to recognize and respect the mandate given by the people and adhere to the constitution’s provisions regarding the process of judgments at the petitions tribunal.

The youths expressed faith in the judiciary and believed that the judges would execute justice while hearing and judging the election petition case at the supreme court.

They affirmed their witness to the state rising out of the challenges of mal-governance and expressed strong faith in the administration of Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
