Yoruba Nollywood actor Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, has reportedly passed away after battling a serious illness.
His death was announced by several colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry.
Regina Chukwu, who shared his picture, expressed condolences to his family and recounted how he fought for his life in recent days, revealing that she had trained under him as a makeup artist on set for years.
Nollywood actress Abiola Bayo also mourned his passing on her verified Instagram handle, stating that he would be greatly missed.

Tunde Yusuf, another actor, posted a picture of Sisi Quadri and offered prayers for his soul, emphasizing that everything in the world is according to the will of Allah.
Oyebamiji celebrated his 44th birthday on December 25, 2023, and was well-known for his role in the movie “Seniyan Seranko,” released on December 4, 2004.
He was also set to appear in the upcoming film “Anikulapo: The Return of Spectre,” which was scheduled for release in cinemas across the country and was recently released on Netflix.
Reflecting on his acting career in an interview with The PUNCH in 2023, Oyebamiji shared that he began his journey in Ore, Ondo State, and was introduced to acting by his dad’s elder brother and mentor, Toyin Olaiya (Alaga council).
His passion for education led him to further his studies at The Polytechnic Iree, and he eventually found success in the entertainment industry.
Known for his talent in delivering humorous insults in movie scenes, Oyebamiji attributed this skill to his upbringing and innate abilities, stating that he learned from his parents and that his acting style mirrored his natural behavior.
Despite his fame, he remained humble and continued to create content that entertained audiences.
