Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, representing Ogun West senatorial district, has reiterated his commitment to enhancing individual development and easing economic pressure through vocational training initiatives.
As the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Adeola emphasized his dedication to facilitating projects aimed at capacity building and infrastructure development in Ogun West. He highlighted the importance of vocational training in empowering individuals to contribute positively to the economy.
During the presentation of certificates and laptops to participants of a 5-day ICT training facilitated by the senator, Adeola underscored the significance of updating participants’ skills with the latest ICT applications and technologies.
The training, which included participants from various sectors such as journalism, healthcare, education, and technical institutions, aimed to boost capacity building and foster individual development in Ogun West.

Senator Adeola revealed that previous initiatives, including the distribution of laptops to teachers and students in secondary schools, have already impacted over 1,500 individuals in the senatorial district. Additionally, thousands of school bags and educational materials have been distributed to primary and secondary schools.
Encouraging the new beneficiaries of the ICT training to utilize their skills effectively, Senator Adeola assured continued quality representation in the Senate and pledged to facilitate more impactful projects for the people of Ogun West.
