A 33-year-old man, Adebayo Busayo, reportedly took his own life at Stanley Street, Ipamaki Ibafo, Ogun State.
The incident occurred around 6:00 pm on Sunday, and it was revealed that the deceased had previously confessed to one of his sisters about his depression.
According to an anonymous eyewitness, the deceased had exhibited signs of depression, often appearing sad and unwilling to discuss his troubles.
The eyewitness expressed regret at not being able to help the man, describing him as a nice person and expressing disbelief that he would resort to taking his own life.

Another witness, identified as Bola, claimed that the suicide occurred shortly after the man started working at a Chinese company.
Bola mentioned that the deceased had confided in his sister, who found his lifeless body in her apartment, expressing a feeling of being fed up with life.
A bottle of Sniper, a common pesticide, was reportedly discovered next to the deceased.
The eyewitnesses emphasized the importance of speaking up about personal struggles and urged individuals to share their burdens instead of keeping them inside.
The state command’s Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, stated that the corpse would be taken to Sagamu General Hospital for a medical examination.
