Tragic accidents have claimed lives in separate incidents in Ogun State, Nigeria.
In one accident at Hamadiyah Junction, Oju-Ore side of Ota, Lagos Ibadan Expressway, a collision between an IVECO Truck and a Blue Honda Motorcycle resulted in the death of a female commercial motorcycle passenger.
In the unfortunate incident, one person sustained injuries, while two others emerged unharmed.
Spokesperson for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Tunde Akinbiyi in a release said the mishap involved an IVECO Truck with the registration plate APP126YH and a Blue Honda Motorcycle with the plate ABC580UP.

According to him, Excessive speed by the truck driver and subsequent loss of control were identified as the primary causes of the accident.
The truck collided with the moving motorcycle, leading to the fatality.
The injured victim was promptly rescued and transported to the general hospital, while the presumed deceased was taken to the state morgue.
In a separate incident, another life was lost in an auto crash at the Olorunda Bridge along the Owode Idi-Iroko road.
The incident involved three males and one female, with a Blue Mercedes Benz Truck (with no visible number plate) and a Red Bajaj Motorcycle bearing registration number DGB 504 VK.
The spokesperson for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps revealed that brake failure on the part of the truck led to the collision with the motorcycle, resulting in both vehicles plunging into a nearby river.
The injured female victim is receiving medical treatment, while the presumed deceased has been claimed by relatives for burial rites.
