President Bola Tinubu expressed deep sorrow and grief over the accidental bombing of the Tudun Biri community in Kaduna State by the Nigerian Army.

The tragic incident, which resulted in the loss of lives, prompted widespread outrage and condemnation.

In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, titled ‘President Tinubu condoles with Kaduna State government, families of victims over bombing mishap,’ Tinubu extended his sympathies to the families of the victims, the people, and the government of Kaduna State.

The accidental bombing occurred in the Tudun Biri village in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State during the celebration of Maulud, an Islamic event.

President Tinubu called for a thorough and full-fledged investigation into the incident and urged calm while authorities diligently look into this and similar mishaps.

He directed swift and comprehensive medical attention for the surviving victims and offered prayers for the repose of the souls of the deceased.

The tragic incident has prompted local and international condemnation, with calls for accountability and measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.
