President Bola Tinubu has appointed four individuals to serve as Executive Directors of the Transmission Company of Nigeria for a term of four years each.
A statement from the State House, signed by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, announced the recent appointments.
The move is part of the administration’s efforts to enhance the quality and quantity of electric power transmitted across the nation’s grid.

The appointees are Oluwagbenga Ajiboye, appointed as Executive Director of Transmission Service Provider; Nafisatu Ali, appointed as Executive Director of Independent System Operations; Ochije Chukwuka, appointed as Executive Director of Finance & Accounts; and Abiodun Afolabi, appointed as Executive Director of Human Resources & Corporate Services.
President Tinubu expressed his expectations for the new appointees, urging them to fully commit themselves to realizing the administration’s innovative and expansive energy vision.
He emphasized the importance of delivering consistently excellent service to the Nigerian people in their respective roles.
