The Presidency has confirmed that President Bola Tinubu and his aides will be returning to Nigeria from Europe today.
President Tinubu embarked on his journey over two weeks ago, starting with a meeting with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, followed by attendance at a special World Economic Forum in Saudi Arabia.
Subsequently, he proceeded to Europe after the summit.
The announcement of his return was made by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, via his social media handle on Tuesday.
Tinubu’s official visit to The Netherlands on April 22 was at the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte, according to Ajuri Ngelale, presidential spokesperson.

After concluding his engagements in The Netherlands, he attended the special World Economic Forum meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from April 28 to 29.
While it was expected that Tinubu would return to Nigeria following the Saudi Arabia forum, his prolonged absence led to speculations about his whereabouts.
Some reports suggested he had traveled to London for a private visit from Saudi Arabia before proceeding to France, a European country.
