Socialite Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, has broken his silence following his release on N10 million bail with two sureties, each in the same amount.
Okechukwu, in an Instagram post after his arraignment on Wednesday, asserted his stature, stating, “Money na water,” expressing gratitude for the support he received.
Earlier, The Federal High Court in Lagos granted Okechukwu bail after he pleaded not guilty to charges of tampering and abusing the naira.

he allegations stem from an incident at a social event where he purportedly sprayed and tampered with the currency, contravening the Central Bank Act of 2007.
The charges, detailed in the charge marked FHC/L/ 246/2024 and obtained by The PUNCH, accuse Okechukwu of tampering with N500 notes issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria during a social gathering, both in 2020 and January 2024, by spraying the currency for an extended period.
Okechukwu’s arraignment before Justice Kehinde Ogundare involved three counts related to abusing the naira during a social event, including allegations of tampering with funds in N500 denominations.
