Saving Point Media celebrates the recent promotion of Hammed Oloyede, the spokesperson for the Nigeria Customs Service, to the rank of lieutenant colonel.

Oloyede, known for his dedication and commitment to his duties, has cultivated a positive relationship with the public.

Described as a Public Relations Officer who adeptly understands and fulfills his responsibilities with unwavering honesty, Oloyede received his well-deserved promotion this week.

Born on December 3, 1983, in Offa, Kwara State, to Mr. and Mrs. Kamaldeen Bukoye Oloyede, he attended Ansar-Ud-Deen College, Offa, graduating in 2001.

He furthered his education at the University of Ilorin, earning his first degree in Islamic Studies.

Joining the Nigeria Customs Service on June 15, 2011, Oloyede became a member of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) in 2013 in Asaba, Delta State.

His career journey began at the Ikorodu Lighter Terminal Command, Lagos State, where he served in the Public Relations Unit as a Deputy PRO and later assumed the role of PRO for the command.

Throughout his career, Oloyede has undergone various training programs in Public Relations, including sessions organized by NAN Bizcom Nigeria Limited (2012), Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (2013), Customs workshop in Calabar (2014), Global Alliance in conjunction with NIPR (2015) in Abuja, and the Training of Nigeria Customs Broadcasting Network and Nigeria Customs Service PROs in 2020.

Acknowledging his series of awards for hard work and dedication to official duties, Oloyede expressed gratitude to the authorities of the Nigeria Customs Service for recognizing his worthiness for the recent promotion.

Happily married to Mrs. Saheedat Dunmininu Oloyede, he is blessed with four children.
