Job Title: Property Manager

Scope: Lease renewals; Service Charge management; Pitching and sourcing new property management portfolios; Market research and advisory.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the management of Knight Frank managed properties, including building operations, administration, client/tenant relations, leasing, and financial reporting.
  2. Prepare service charge accounts in collaboration with the Finance department and review the same for all managed properties.
  3. Manage vendor relationships with security, janitorial, landscaping, including the bidding process and performance requirements.
  4. Recommend changes to rents and fees in accordance with market changes and advise clients accordingly.
  5. Develop annual property management operating budget.
  6. Collaborate with the Facility Management department to implement preventive maintenance and capital improvement plans.
  7. Ensure tenant satisfaction, follow-up on escalated issues, and approve tenant events.
  8. Renew rent leases when due and ensure proper documentation.
  9. Ensure all new occupants receive and sign their lease agreements before moving in.
  10. Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual property/service charge reports/accounts and budgets for clients and tenants.
  11. Attend housing meetings and be the primary contact person with state program representatives for properties under KF management.
  12. Ensure all managed properties are fully tenanted.
  13. Conduct on-site inspections for prospects, advising them on the suitability and value of the property.

Education & Experience:

  • 1st Degree in Estate Management or related field with a minimum of 2nd class grade or its equivalent.
  • 10-12 years of property management experience.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies (NIESV, ESVRABON, RICS, or equivalent).

  • Knowledge of the real estate market in Lagos and current standards.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Sound presentation and pitching skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Systems & IT Competence:

  • MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
