President Bola Tinubu is set to depart from Abuja to Paris, France, for a private visit, as announced by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

The statement, titled ‘President Tinubu travels to France,’ did not specify the purpose of the visit but mentioned that he would return to the country in the first week of February 2024.

This marks Tinubu’s third visit to France since assuming office eight months ago. On June 20, 2023, just three weeks after taking office, he participated in the Paris Summit for the New Global Financial Pact during a four-day stay.

The summit aimed to review and sign a new pact prioritizing support and investment for vulnerable countries grappling with the impacts of climate change, the energy crisis, and the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
