The Enugu State Police Command has announced the dates and venues for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Computer-Based Test (CBT) for General Duty applicants in the ongoing 2022 recruitment of police constables.
According to DSP Daniel Ndukwe, the command’s spokesman, successful applicants who passed the physical and credentials screening will undergo the JAMB-administered CBT on Tuesday, March 5, and Wednesday, March 6.
The designated centres for the CBT exercise include:
- Coal City University CBT Centre, Abakaliki Road, Enugu
- Enugu State College of Education (Technical), Abakaliki Road, Enugu
- Foretrust Digital Learning Management Centre, Premier Layout, Near Dunamis Church, New Artisan, Enugu
- Bishop Otubelu Juniorate CBT Centre (replacing the IMT Digital Learning Management Centre)
Applicants are advised to visit the police recruitment portal (https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng) to access and print their examination invitation slips, which contain the respective dates, times, and centres for the CBT.

They are required to report to the centres with their invitation slips and appear in white T-shirts and shorts. It’s important to note that the CBT is specifically for General Duty applicants, while the date and venue for the practical examination for applicants in the Specialists cadre will be announced later.
Commissioner of Police Kanayo Uzuegbu wished the shortlisted General Duty applicants success in the CBT stage, urging them to adhere to the examination rules and cautioning them against falling victim to job scammers who may attempt to defraud them under false pretenses.
