About the Role:
The Head Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Pan African Towers plays a crucial role as a trusted advisor, guiding talent management, employee engagement, and workforce planning. This leadership position involves resolving complex HR issues, championing diversity and inclusion initiatives, and contributing to the development of a positive workplace culture. This dynamic role provides an opportunity to lead and shape the human resource function, ensuring alignment with the organization’s growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Advise and influence People Managers and Senior Leaders, building relationships, and leveraging experience to solve critical business problems.
- Execute business-aligned people strategy, working with client groups to understand priorities and collaborating with the broader people team to deliver solutions.
- Utilize HRBP experience to foster the future of work at PAT, proactively building programs to engage, retain, and develop employees.
- Coach and develop operation team leaders and managers in change management, building high-performance teams, improving engagement, and navigating complex team member relations.
- Partner across various functions to set people up for success, supporting workforce planning and strategic organizational design.
- Project manage complex and scaling programs, serving as a connector between the business and the People team.
- Effectively manage constant change through communication, advocacy, collaboration, and planning, acting as a change management expert.
- Advise on rewards and compensation design, partnering with Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition teams.
- Deploy people programs into the business, leveraging change champions, gaining leadership buy-in, and supporting internal communication plans.
- Dive into foundational build or revamp of HR systems and processes while balancing strategic planning and execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 7 years of direct and relevant HR experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
- Demonstrated experience in change management and organizational development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide recommendations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- HR certification(s) SHRM-CP, PER) is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of people management experience in an HR function required.
- Minimum of 2 years in an HR managerial role.
- Expert knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and industry trends.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategy with organizational objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate.
