Troops of the Nigerian Army engaged in Counter Terrorism Counter Insurgency operations in Zamfara State conducted a successful raid on the hideout of terrorist leader Yellow Janbros.

The operation, which took place on Tuesday, resulted in a fierce gun battle between the troops and the terrorists, leading to the death of one terrorist.

During the raid, the troops recovered several weapons and dismantled Janbros’ enclave. Janbros, who has been linked to kidnappings and other terrorist activities in north-western Nigeria, has long been a target of security forces.

The Nigerian Army announced the operation in a post on Tuesday, highlighting the significance of neutralizing Janbros and disrupting his criminal activities.

The raid took place at Dangunu Village in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
