The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission, Rev Stephen Adegbite, has urged Muslims in the country to foster inter-faith harmony, peace, and love. He also asked them to collaborate with the federal and state governments to enhance governance in Nigeria.

Adegbite made the call in a press release signed by the commission’s Deputy Director and Head of Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka, on Tuesday, where he commended the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.

He emphasized the importance of upholding Nigeria and its leaders in prayers, while also urging Muslims to pray for the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

The statement read, ‘The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, congratulated the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr celebration.’

Bishop Adegbite also commended Muslims for their successful completion of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan and acknowledged the spiritual benefits of this observance in strengthening their faith and belief in God.
