Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, urged Nigerians to place trust in President Bola Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing ongoing efforts to tackle national challenges and revive the economy.
Speaking during an Iftar event with media executives in Kano on Wednesday, Idris highlighted the gradual economic revival under Tinubu’s leadership.
He reassured that the administration is actively addressing challenges, with policies and programs aimed at improving the welfare of citizens.

Idris emphasized the need for confidence in Tinubu’s leadership for successful implementation of these initiatives.
Idris also outlined plans for a comprehensive overhaul of agencies under the Ministry of Information and National Orientation to enhance the sector’s effectiveness.
Additionally, he disclosed ongoing efforts to rehabilitate the nation’s refineries, with the Port Harcourt Refinery set for completion soon.
Expressing concern over the previous mismanagement of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Idris commended Tinubu’s administration for restoring the bank’s reputation through appropriate policies.
He highlighted positive outcomes from Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting the gradual economic recovery as evidence of its effectiveness.
