Paris Saint-Germain player Kylian Mbappe has reportedly reached an agreement with Real Madrid, as revealed in an article published by Spanish newspaper MARCA.
The agreement, signed two weeks ago, stipulates that the French striker will join Real Madrid from July 1, signing a 5-year contract with the Spanish giants.
Mbappe’s impending move to the Bernabeu has been a protracted transfer saga, with Real Madrid first expressing interest in the player back in 2017 when he emerged as a teenage sensation at Monaco.
On February 15, Mbappe informed officials at Paris Saint-Germain of his intention to leave when his contract expires at the end of the season, according to a source close to the Ligue 1 champions.

Although the 25-year-old had extended his contract with PSG until 2024 in 2022, he declined to activate a clause allowing him to stay another year last summer.
Negotiations between Mbappe and Real Madrid have reportedly been ongoing, with an official statement expected to be made by both parties in the coming months.
While PSG and Real Madrid have yet to issue formal comments regarding Mbappe’s future, MARCA’s publication on Monday confirmed the agreement reached between the player and the Spanish club.
Despite this confirmation, questions still linger about the details of Mbappe’s impending transfer and its impact on both clubs.
