The family of 13-year-old schoolgirl Miracle Adereti is seeking the assistance of the police to locate their daughter, who was kidnapped by an unknown gang in the Ikotun area of Lagos State.
Miracle was reportedly abducted while returning from school on Friday, December 1.According to reports, the kidnappers trailed her to school in the morning and waited until the closing period.
The gang, parked a short distance away from the school premises, abducted Miracle while she and her sister were walking home.

Miracle’s father, Segun Adereti, who works at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, reported the incident to the police on the same day.
The family has received calls from the kidnappers threatening them not to involve the police. The distraught father has appealed to the police to intervene and help secure the release of his daughter.
