The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
A total of over 1.94 million candidates registered and took the examination across 118 towns and over 700 centres nationwide.
Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar of JAMB, made the announcement during a press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Bwari, Abuja.
The examination, which commenced on April 19, 2024, concluded on April 29, 2024.
Candidates can check their UTME results using either the official JAMB result-checking portal or through SMS. Here’s how to check your result:

Using the JAMB result-checking portal:
- Visit the official JAMB result-checking portal at https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility using any device with an internet connection.
- Log in to your profile using your email address and password.
- Once logged in, click on the “Check UTME Results” link.
- Enter your registration number on the JAMB result-checking portal.
- Click on the “Check Result” button to process your result, which will then be displayed on the screen.
- Print out a copy of your result for reference.
Using the SMS option:
- Send UTMERESULT to either 55019 or 66019 from the phone number you used to register for the exam.
- The UTME result will be transmitted to the phone number registered with JAMB for the examination.
