Job Title: Administrative Officer

Description: The Administrative Officer at ipNX Nigeria Limited will be responsible for performing a variety of routine clerical, reception, and office support functions. The key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining office services by organizing office operations and procedures.
  • Controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
  • Attending workshops to increase knowledge of office management.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in the field, new administrative techniques, local government and regulatory bodies’ issues, and other current events through continued education and professional growth.
  • Dealing with general admin inquiries, complaints, or issues from staff.
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintaining office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems.
  • Overseeing certain admin employees to undertake operational requirements.
  • Monitoring office supplies inventory and placing orders.
  • Ensuring the supply room is stocked, and equipment is running properly.

Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills:

  • A B.Sc / HND in any field (Minimum of Second Class Lower/Upper credit).
  • Minimum of 3 – 4 years relevant working experience.

Skills:

  • Considerable knowledge of safety practices and general methods, materials, and equipment used in utility design, construction, repair, and maintenance.
  • Strong ability to follow oral and written instructions properly.
  • Ability to read meters, pipeline drawings, blueprints, and maps.
  • Ability to recognize hazards and take measures to avoid them.
  • Competency in all operational aspects of Admin, including distributing mail, filing, and answering phone calls.
  • Ability to critically assess situations, solve problems, work effectively under stress, within deadlines, and in emergency situations.
  • The ability to work flexible and additional hours on short notice and a positive, team-focused attitude is essential.
