In a recent incident on the Abeokuta-Sagamu route on Firday, a collision involving two vehicles, a Sienna car with registration number FKJ445DS and a truck (Tipper), unfolded close to the location where FRSC operatives were actively engaged in operations.
The swift response of FRSC operatives, aided by the police, resulted in the immediate arrest of the involved truck at Seun area in Ogun State.
According to the FRSC officials, the Tipper driver was approaching their location at high speed.

Despite timely warnings to fellow road users, the driver lost control, colliding with two vehicles and causing injury to one person.
The truck driver then fled the scene, navigating the next turning point, but was pursued and successfully apprehended by the authorities.
The injured individual was promptly transported to General Hospital Ijaye for medical attention.
The Sector Commander has initiated an investigation into the matter. The vehicle, now considered a hit-and-run case, is being handed over to the police for further inquiry.
Expressing his concern over the situation, the Sector Commander conveyed his distress and urged motorists to drive responsibly, considering the safety of others on the road.
