Masked gunmen reportedly raided the Idowa community in Odogbolu Local Government area of Ogun State on Monday afternoon, kidnapping Tunde Osifowokan, the farm manager at Flourishing Poultry Farm.
Osifowokan is reported to be the younger brother of the farm’s owner.
Additionally, there are concerns about the disappearance of Isiaka Aileru, a member of the Hausa community in the town, who has not been seen since he went to his farm on Monday.
According to sources, the gunmen arrived at the farm in a commando style, seeking the owner of the business who was expected to return that day.

When none of the workers identified as the owner, Osifowokan, standing up, disclosed that he was the younger brother of the farm owner.
Consequently, the gunmen abducted him. During their escape, they reportedly shot at a driver, injuring him, and damaged his vehicle.
Chief Yusuf Olusanya, the Sobaloju of Idowa, confirmed the incident, stating that the gunmen wore masks and shot sporadically.
He mentioned that while the police are actively involved, there hasn’t been any ransom demand from the abductors yet.
The Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu, confirmed the abduction and assured that the police are deploying all resources and intelligence to secure the release of the victim.
He also urged patience as the investigation progresses.
