The Ogun State government has intervened in the dispute between the state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and the Ogun State Park Management Board.
This intervention follows last week’s violent clashes between the union and the board at various motor garages in Abeokuta over ticketing issues for commercial vehicles.
The clashes resulted in several injuries before the police were deployed to restore peace to the motor garages in the state capital.
