The Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru, has called for a comprehensive review of military strategies, tactics, techniques, and procedures to effectively address the prevailing insecurity in Nigeria.
Acknowledging the challenging times faced by the country, the minister emphasized the reliance of both the government and citizens on the military to ensure safety and security.
Speaking during the decoration of newly promoted senior officers at the Nigerian Air Force Headquarters in Abuja, Badaru highlighted the need for a thorough assessment of military approaches in response to recent attacks in Plateau State, where over 195 residents lost their lives.
He urged the military to uphold professionalism and deliver optimal efforts to address the security challenges.

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, echoed the call for unwavering dedication, emphasizing that failure should never be an option.
He stressed that meeting the expectations of Nigerians was paramount, urging the military to remain determined and succeed in their mission.
