In a disturbing incident, suspected cultists, allegedly loyal to General ‘Danger,’ leader of the Iceland cult group, invaded the Egbeh community in Ubie kingdom, Ahoda West Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The assailants abducted three individuals, including a woman, and later, their lifeless bodies were discovered along the Egbeh and Ebiriba Road area of Ubie Kingdom.
Prior to the abduction, the two male victims had reportedly quarreled with a woman believed to be the mother of General ‘Danger,’ who subsequently threatened them.

The lady abducted alongside the two males was reported to be the girlfriend of one of the victims.
Following the abduction, panic and chaos ensued in the community as residents raised an alarm and initiated a search.
The spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, Superintendent Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident.
She stated that three persons were killed, and efforts were underway to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice.
The investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the abduction and murders.
Cult-related violence remains a significant challenge in some communities, necessitating proactive measures and collaborative efforts from law enforcement agencies and local communities to curb such incidents and ensure the safety of residents.
