Belcalis Almánzar, the American rapper widely known as Cardi B, has officially confirmed the end of her marriage to Offset, her husband.
Speculation about the couple’s divorce began circulating online following a series of cryptic posts on Cardi’s Instagram page last week.
In one of her posts, Cardi B mentioned getting rid of “dead weight” in the coming year, emphasizing aspects like mentality, procrastination, laziness, and people.
Another post indicated her desire to prioritize herself and not protect others’ feelings in relationships.

The situation intensified as the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram last week, fueling rumors of a split.
During an Instagram Live session on Monday, Cardi B addressed the speculation and confirmed her separation from Offset.
“I don’t know if y’all have been getting clues from me from my Live, or from my Instagram Stories, where I put certain music. When it comes to events and stuff, I don’t think it’s true, I don’t care to find out because I have been single for a minute now,” Cardi B explained.
She admitted to hesitating in sharing the news but clarified that she has been living as a single individual for some time. The rapper alluded to her difficulty in expressing this to the public.
The divorce news surfaces amidst accusations from American rapper Blueface, claiming that Offset had a relationship with his baby mama, Chrisean Rock.
