Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer, MohBad (Ilerioluwa Aloba), has called for an intensive investigation into the death of his son.
MohBad passed away on September 12, and his father has now alleged that his son’s body was dumped on the stairs when he arrived at the deceased’s home on the day of his death.
In a statement, Aloba expressed disappointment with the government authorities for not taking immediate action when the incident occurred.
He called for a thorough investigation of everyone who was with MohBad 48 to 72 hours before his death and emphasized the importance of focusing on the deceased’s house as the crime scene.

Aloba also criticized the delay in releasing the autopsy report, noting that as of November 2023, the Lagos State Police Command had not officially received the report.
The circumstances surrounding MohBad’s death have sparked controversies on social media, leading to arrests, including that of Naira Marley and a controversial Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry.
The police had inaugurated a special investigation team to probe the death and exhumed MohBad’s body for an autopsy.
However, as of December 2023, the official autopsy report had not been released.
