In two separate auto accidents at J-Four Junction along the Ijebu Ode-Ore Expressway in Ogun State, three individuals lost their lives, and seven others sustained injuries on Wednesday.
Both accidents, which occurred due to excessive speed, were confirmed by Florence Okpeh, the spokesperson of the Ogun State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
The first accident took place in the morning and involved two vehicles and a motorcycle.
Okpeh stated that the collision resulted from excessive speed, causing one of the vehicles to veer off the road.

The tragic incident claimed three lives, and the injured were promptly taken to the General Hospital, Ijebu Ode, for medical attention.
Later in the day, another multiple auto crash occurred at the same location, claiming two lives and leaving five others injured.
The vehicles involved in this crash were identified as a Toyota Sienna with registration number LSD 315 FU and a Honda Accord car marked ENU O4 G.
The bodies of the deceased were also taken to the General Hospital, Ijebu Ode, while the injured received medical attention.
The spokesperson emphasized the role of excessive speed in both accidents and urged motorists to exercise caution, adhere to traffic rules, and prioritize safety on the roads.
