Popular gospel singer, Adeyinka Alaseyori, candidly discusses her decision to keep her husband out of the public eye in a recent interview on the podcast, ‘Confession Box with PLA,’ hosted by Leke Adeboye and his wife, Titi.
During the podcast session, Alaseyori reveals that despite being a mother of two, she prefers not to prominently display her marital life. She explains, “I love my husband, I don’t flaunt him. I don’t flaunt him so much. I don’t flaunt him all the time,” acknowledging that this choice often leads people to assume she is single.
Despite not wearing her wedding ring, Alaseyori emphasizes that she is happily married and blessed with two children.

She attributes the decision to keep her family life private to her husband’s preference for maintaining a low profile. “He’s my dream supporter,” she shares, “Fame for us came faster than we expected. So my husband would rather that we keep the family out of public attention.”
Alaseyori also reflects on her musical journey, crediting her husband for recognizing her talent early on. “He saw this ahead of me, so he made sure I started this,” she reveals.
Drawing inspiration directly from God, she emphasizes the importance of spiritual communion in her creative process.
Hailing from Ondo State, Alaseyori shares snippets of her upbringing, highlighting her close ties to her grandmother and her early involvement in gospel music at the World Soul Evangelical Ministry in Ilesha, Osun State.
She recounts her humble beginnings, singing fervently both within the church and in her community, despite facing familial challenges and living apart from her parents for a significant portion of her childhood.
