A man was arrested on late Saturday morning in connection with a bomb threat that led to the evacuation of Denmark’s second-largest airport, Billund airport.
Flights to and from the airport were suspended following the alert.
Danish police issued a statement confirming the arrest in southeast Jutland after receiving the bomb threat at Billund airport.

As a result of the incident, several flights scheduled for departure in the early afternoon were cancelled, including those bound for Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Barcelona.
Authorities are investigating whether there is a connection between this bomb threat and a separate incident earlier in the day, where an ATM was bombed in Billund around 4:00 am local time.
Billund airport, located near the headquarters of Lego and the Legoland theme park, remains on high alert as investigations continue into both incidents.
