The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has released a list of feeders that were downgraded from Band A to Band B, C, D, or E, affecting the hours of power supply to various areas in Oyo, Ogun, Kwara, and Osun States.

This downgrade was carried out in response to directives from the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) based on the allocation of daily power supply to these areas.

Here is a summary of some affected areas and their new power supply bands:

  1. IBADAN (Band B):
  • Bank Road 11kv Feeder: Magazine Road, Oba Adebimpe Road, Oke Bola (Now receives 16 hours of power supply)
  1. OGUN (Band B):
  • GTB 11kv Feeder: GTBank Training School, Oke Ilewo Abeokuta (Now receives 19 hours of power supply)
  1. KWARA (Band B):
  • Seminary 11kv Feeder: High-school Area to Seminary, Randa area, Olomi area, Bowen Area, Takie Junction, Apake area, Star- Light area, Sabo area, Orita Naira Junction, Terminated at Bode-Eniafe Street (Now receives 16 hours of power supply)
  1. IBADAN (Band C):
  • Ami 11KV Feeder: Onireke, Jericho, Railway Quarters (Now receives 12 hours of power supply)
  1. KWARA (Band C):
  • Asa 11KV Feeder: Asa Dam, Ilorin (Now receives 14 hours of power supply)
  1. OGUN (Band C):
  • Homan 11kv Feeder: Daraju, Eagle Packages, NYCIL (Now receives 14 hours of power supply)
  1. KWARA (Band C):
  • Senior Staff Qtrs F20 11kv Feeder: Senior Camp Road (Now receives 15 hours of power supply)
  1. IBADAN (Band D):
  • Dugbe Awolowo 11kv Feeder: Old Bodija, Sango, Vetinary (Now receives 11 hours of power supply)
  1. KWARA (Band D):
  • Government House 11kv Feeder: Agba Dam Road, Umaru Audi Road, Adelodun Road, Abdulkadir Road, Saad Alamu Street, Offa Road, Flower Garden, Idiagbon Street, Sayomi Street 2nd Avenue Street (Now receives 9 hours of power supply)
  1. IBADAN (Band E):
    • Anfani 11KV Feeder: Anfani Road, Ibadan (Now receives 5 hours of power supply)

These changes reflect adjustments in power allocation to different areas based on available supply and NERC directives.

Customers affected by these changes will experience varying levels of power supply as per their new band classifications.
