Italian pundit Giovanni Scotto has revealed that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is set to make a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), despite interest from English Premier League giants Chelsea and Arsenal.

Scotto disclosed that PSG appears to have the upper hand in securing Osimhen’s signature, despite the player being under contract with Napoli until 2025. The Nigerian forward is anticipated to depart from the Diego Maradona Stadium at the end of the current season.

Speaking with CalcioNapoli, Scotto emphasized PSG’s advantageous position in the race for Osimhen’s signature.

“De Laurentiis was reassured: Osimhen’s €120 million will come, I believe from Paris Saint-Germain,” Scotto stated, as reported by Area Napoli. “This money will compensate for the lost Champions League revenues and partially those from the Club World Cup.”

PSG views Osimhen as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappé, underlining their keen interest in securing his services. With this revelation, all eyes are on the upcoming transfer window as the French Ligue 1 side aims to bolster its attacking lineup.
