Ex-President Muhammadu Buhari extended birthday greetings to President Bola Tinubu on his 72nd birthday, commending Tinubu for his efforts to address the country’s challenges.

Buhari’s message, conveyed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, expressed wishes for Tinubu’s continued health and happiness, emphasizing his dedication to the betterment of Nigeria.

Tinubu had requested a low-key celebration in light of recent security concerns, as stated by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga.

The Presidency supported Tinubu’s decision and highlighted his commitment to building a more stable and prosperous Nigeria.

Several political figures, including Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau and Speaker of the House of Representatives Abbas Tajudeen, congratulated Tinubu, recognizing his visionary leadership and contributions to democracy.

Furthermore, lawmakers at the Lagos State House of Assembly commended Tinubu’s achievements and policies that have elevated Lagos State’s status, with Speaker Mudasiru Obasa highlighting Tinubu’s transformative impact on the state’s economy.

In a separate congratulatory message, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun celebrated Tinubu’s 72nd birthday, describing him as a democrat and visionary leader dedicated to Nigeria’s economic growth and development.

Abiodun praised Tinubu’s astuteness, resilience, and understanding of the people’s needs, recognizing his exceptional contributions to the nation.
