According to SAVING POINT MEDIA, Oshoala delivered an outstanding performance for Bay FC in their second National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) match on Sunday, despite their 2-1 defeat against Washington Spirit.

The Super Falcons forward and her team aimed to capitalize on their historic NWSL debut but faced disappointment as they conceded a late goal, resulting in a loss for Bay FC.

In the 11th minute, Oshoala showcased her skill with a brilliant through ball, setting up teammate Dorian Bailey for a close-range finish, giving Bay FC a brief 1-0 lead. However, the home team quickly responded, with Croix Bethune equalizing just 12 minutes later. In stoppage time, Bethune struck again, securing a 2-1 victory for Washington Spirit.

Despite the setback in their second match, Bay FC and Oshoala will aim to bounce back next week when they face Michelle Alozie’s Houston Dash in their inaugural home game at PayPal Park in San Jose, California, scheduled for Sunday.
