The Nigerian Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO) has decided to halt its industrial action following a meeting with the Federal Government on Monday.
NARTO members had initiated the suspension of operations on Monday, citing concerns over the exorbitant cost of diesel needed to operate their trucks for the transportation of petroleum products nationwide.

The association had been vocal about the escalating diesel prices, which were reported to range between N1,250 to N1,400 per litre, depending on the location of purchase.
With ongoing discussions between NARTO and the government, further details regarding the resolution of the matter are expected to emerge later.
