On February 15, 2024, the Ogun State Police Command apprehended seven individuals suspected of involvement in the abduction and subsequent ritual murder of 35 years Sulaimon Adijat, a missing woman.

The suspects, identified as Moses Abidemi, Oluwo Samuel Monday, Prophet Peter Oluwalolese, Akinwunmi Ifatosin, Prophet Jamiu Yusuf, Sherifff Agbai, and Osojieahen Alioneitouria, were arrested following a meticulous investigation conducted by the Onipanu Police Divisional Headquarters in Ogun State.

The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu, briefing the press, disclosed that the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Onipanu Divisional Headquarters received a report on January 9, 2024, regarding the disappearance of Sulaimon Adijat, who had been invited on a date by Adebayo Olawale Azeez of Ajegunle Road, Atan Ota, Ogun State.

Despite extensive efforts to locate her, she remained missing, with her phone deactivated since the day of her disappearance.

During investigations, the Anti-Kidnapping Unit uncovered a disturbing plot.

On November 19, 2023, Sherifff Agbai and Osojieahen Alioneitouria approached Oluwo Samuel Monday, seeking a ritual known as ‘Oshole’ promising a fortune of Two Hundred Million naira within seven days.

Oluwo Samuel Monday who is an herbalist agreed, charging them Eight Hundred Thousand naira for the ritual preparation.

Subsequently, he enlisted the help of Peter Oluwalolese, a purported Prophet of a white garment church experienced in sourcing human body parts for rituals.

Peter Oluwalolese engaged another Prophet Jamiu Yusuf, who, in turn, contacted Abidemi Moses, an herbalist, to procure a suitable victim for the ritual.

Eventually, Adebayo Azeez who is an apprentice to abidemi moses, now on the run, allegedly lured the woman to the hotel, from where she was taken to the shrine.

Tragically, Sulaiman Adijat fall victim to this heinous scheme.

On January 9, 2024, she was lured to Sunshine Hotel, Atan Ota, and then taken to Abidemi Moses’s shrine where she was murdered.

Her dismembered body parts were delivered to Oluwo Samuel Monday and Prophet Peter Oluwalolese.

The ritualistic process involved burning her head, two breasts, private part, two wrists and other parts body parts in a local pot, accompanied by sacrificial rites till the next day.

Later, prophet Oluwalolese slaughtered a ram to appease the spirit of the woman in the process of performing the ritual, while some of the body parts were allegedly given to the two prophet.

Subsequently, Sheriff Agbai and Osojieahen Alioneitouria collected the purported ritual reward (Human Soap) but were dismayed when it failed to yield the promised sum.

A search of Abidemi Moses’s shrine on February 3, 2024, led to the recovery of incriminating evidence, including human remains and belongings belonging to Sulaimon Adijat and other ladies who had earlier fall victims of rituals.

All apprehended suspects confessed to their involvement.

Investigations continue to capture remaining fugitives, with plans to prosecute those responsible once inquiries are concluded.

Updates will be provided to the public accordingly.

The police commissioner worried over the incident advised youths not to believe in using human beings to make money ritual.
