House of Representatives Member, Hon. Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI), has stated that Governor Dapo Abiodun’s victory at the Supreme Court has positioned Ogun West favorably for the 2027 gubernatorial election.
Commonly known as GNI, Isiaka made this observation at the Victory Thanksgiving Service for Governor Abiodun held at the St. James Anglican Church, Iperu Remo.
Isiaka emphasized the importance of equity and fairness, stating that it is only just for Ogun West to have an opportunity to contest for the state’s governorship.
However, he noted that the necessary processes must be followed for this to happen.

He congratulated Governor Abiodun on the Supreme Court victory, describing it as a triumph for the good people of the state.
Isiaka acknowledged that the victory reaffirms the governor’s mandate to lead Ogun State for another four years.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain highlighted the democratic process, acknowledging the right of the opposition to challenge the outcome.
Despite the legal challenges, Governor Abiodun’s victory has been upheld, securing his mandate from the people of Ogun State.
