The Leadership Empowerment International Conference (LEIC) has declared a significant reorganization of its operational structures as it gears up for a series of international conferences in at least 13 countries this year.

Headquartered in Abeokuta, Ogun State, and operating in 54 nations under the leadership of International Coordinator Prof. Olusesi Obateye, a leadership and strategy expert, LEIC unveiled the plans during a press conference following a key leaders’ meeting.

The organization also announced the initiation of preparations for this year’s conference, “LEIC NIGERIA 2024,” scheduled for August.

Prof. Olusesi Obateye, the International Coordinator of LEIC, revealed that the theme of this year’s conference, to be inaugurated in different countries during separate events, is “Responsive and Responsible Leadership.”

The LEIC conferences will commence in South Africa on March 14 for three days, followed by the United Kingdom from June 6 to 15, Kenya from July 18 to 20, and Uganda from July 25 to 27.

Subsequent conferences are planned for Rwanda (August 1-3), Burundi (August 8-10), and LEIC Nigeria 2024 in Abeokuta (August 15-17).

The series continues with conferences in Ghana (August 22-24), Cameroon (September 12-14), Israel (September 23-30), India (October 23-30), Cote D’Ivoire (November 7-9), and Germany (November 24-30).

Alongside the conference preparations, LEIC announced significant changes in its organizational structure, appointing leaders to key positions.

Dr. Ayodele Arowojolu was named Executive Secretary of LEIC Nigeria, Dr. Jean Bosco Ngendakumana became National Coordinator of LEIC Burundi, Dr. Daniel Kalimba assumed the role of National Coordinator of LEIC Rwanda Network, Dr. Alex Musau Wambua was appointed Deputy National Coordinator of LEIC Kenya, and Dr. Jane Karanja took the position of Principal Secretary and Records Manager at the Office of the IC.

Other appointments include Dr. Mrs. Gladys Igbekele as National Director of Pilgrimage, Travels, and Tours, Mrs. Lizzy Adeboyejo as National Director of Women Affairs, Princess Dr. Ojaronke Ogunremi as President of Immanuel/PLDI Alumni Awardees Forum, and Dr. Abiodun Lasile as National Consultant of LEIC, Nigeria.

To facilitate preparations for the LEIC NIGERIA 2024 conference, an Organizing and Award Committee has been established, chaired by Dr. Ojaronke Ogunremi, with Mrs. Lizzy Adeboyejo serving as Secretary and Dr. Gladys Igbekele as Events Director.

All appointments take immediate effect, according to Prof. Olusesi Obateye, the IC of LEIC.
