Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has directed an investigation into allegations of financial mismanagement at the State College of Education, Ila-Orangun.

The controversy revolves around the alleged mismanagement of a sum of N200 million under the current Governing Council led by Dr. Peter Babalola, who assumed office approximately five months ago.

In response to the allegations, Governor Adeleke has instructed his Chief of Staff, Mr. Kazeem Akinleye, to lead a committee to investigate the matter.

The committee, which includes the Secretary to the State Government and the Commissioner for Education, among others, is tasked with hosting a crisis resolution meeting between the school management and the Governing Council.
