The Lagos State chapter of the Labour Party has urged Nigerians, particularly residents of Lagos, not to despair despite the current challenges facing the nation.
In a message issued by the state’s Labour Party Chairperson, Dayo Ekong, to commemorate the 2023 Christmas celebration, she expressed the season as a moment of joy, peace, and reflection of God’s goodness and love to humanity.
Ekong acknowledged the intensity of the current economic pains but emphasized that there is still hope for the nation.

She urged Nigerians not to despair, assuring them that every pain and suffering has an expiry date.
The Labour Party leader called for prayers for peace and prosperity in the country, expressing confidence that the chain of hardship and struggles will be broken soon.
Ekong extended Christmas greetings to Christians in Lagos State, the nation, and the entire world, wishing Lagos residents a merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
