In preparation for the yuletide season, the Lagos State Government has issued an order for the opening of street gates in Lekki Phase I, Phase II, and its environs from 6 am to 11 pm daily.

The directive aims to facilitate the smooth movement of vehicular traffic and alleviate potential congestion resulting from holiday activities.

The statement was released by the state’s Commissioner of Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, on Friday.

The order emphasizes the importance of adhering to the specified opening hours for street gates during the festive period.

Residents and visitors are expected to comply with the directive, as any contravention may lead to sanctions from the state government.
