A tragic incident occurred at the Kobape axis of the Abeokuta-Siun Expressway, where a man lost his life while attempting to cut the electricity cable belonging to the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company.
The incident took place in close proximity to Daywaterman School.
The individual, who was engaged in the act of cable theft, was electrocuted during the process.

Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson for the State Police Command, confirmed the unfortunate event.
The lifeless body of the cable thief has been transported to the morgue at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital in Sagamu.
