President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria has expressed confidence in the country’s human capital, stating that Nigeria has the requisite and sufficient manpower to drive development across all sectors of the economy.
He made this statement while receiving a report titled “Industrialisation, Energy Security, and Climate Change: Issues, Challenges and Prospects” submitted by the Senior Executive Course 45 of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies.
Tinubu’s comments come amid concerns about the exodus of qualified professionals from Nigeria’s workforce, including academics, healthcare practitioners, engineers, and technology experts.
The President acknowledged the challenges but emphasized the need for commitment to research and development to harness the country’s potential.

He assured that his administration would review the report and integrate its recommendations into ongoing policies and programs within the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The President commended the report for its thorough research, constructive solutions, and a roadmap for achieving sustainable development goals in the country.
Tinubu expressed renewed hope and commitment to addressing the identified challenges for national development.
The report was presented by the Senior Executive Course 45, comprising 97 participants from various sectors, who engaged in lectures, seminars, brainstorming sessions, and study tours during the ten-month course.
The President acknowledged the significance of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies in charting the course of national development and cultivating visionary leaders for Nigeria’s prosperous and sustainable future.
