The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has fined Gombe United Football Club N7 million over an alleged display of unruly conduct by a fan during a match with Kano Pillars.

The fan reportedly threw stones into the Pantami township stadium during the game.

In addition to the fine, the club also received a one-match stadium ban for fans.

The NPFL management blamed Gombe United for failing to provide adequate security for the guest players during the match.
