Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has assured the family of the late Director of Finance and Administration in the Governor’s Office, Mr. Taiwo Oyekanmi, that the perpetrators of his killing will be apprehended and brought to justice.

The governor, during a condolence visit to the deceased’s family, declared a one-week mourning period in honor of Oyekanmi.

Abiodun pledged the state government’s commitment to taking full responsibility for the welfare of the family left behind by the late director.

Oyekanmi was attacked and murdered while on an official assignment in the Abeokuta metropolis.

Describing the deceased as diligent, hardworking, honest, and God-fearing, Governor Abiodun expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident.

He assured that every effort would be made to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The family, represented by Oyekanmi’s younger brother, Tayo Oyekanmi, appreciated the governor’s visit and called for a swift resolution to unveil the culprits behind the killing.
