The Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal has removed Abubakar Suleiman, the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, from his position.
Suleiman is representating the Ningi Central Constituency in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

In its judgment on Friday, the appellate court directed a rerun in 10 polling units within the constituency.
Notably, Suleiman, the immediate past Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, has been affected by this development.
